The PC streaming works alright.

Note: My desktop, laptop and router were all within ten feet of each other.

Yeah, not impressed with that controller

Also, realized that it would be cheaper just to get a long hdmi cable and run that from my pc to my tv

My favorite part of this is the white guy standing up and clapping because the guy next to him just freaked out but obviously not knowing why he should be.

Why's the analog stick on the left?  Should be where that set of face buttons is now, and the face buttons should be where the second track pad is. Those buttons look awkward to reach with your thumb, considering where the grip is situated. And why is there even a second track pad? Seems like overkill on the whole trackpad issue. This thing looks like they just gave up and said fuck it. Are they gonna call it The Valve Clusterfuck™?

Seems like they should have made a modular controller, where you could pop out and arrange the segments on the face however you liked. Thrown an extra analog segment in the box if you wanted to just play with a normal console-style controller. I had an old  PS2 controller you could do that with. You could pop the analogs out and arrange them Xbox style, put the D-pad and face buttons wherever you wanted, etc. It was a piece of shit build-wise, but I really liked the general idea of it, and Valve could have surely pulled something like that off.

:comeon
People have been using the same controller style for over 10 years and they want to go change it up? Even Nintendo realized this with the pro controller.

When it comes to videogames and not fucking up community aspects/elements, Valve is king. When it comes to hardware and other aspects? Either boring as fuck or shit I don't see panning out at all.

What worries me is that it's simply just Steam rebroadcaster and doesn't have a suite of android based streaming apps ready to go

If you can't match a featureset of a Chromecast, why try? :ufup
