What genre are you most likely to spend your free time on?

Note: Raising Kids and eating are a given so we're just going to toss them out.

I'm in 30 and over rec league basketball
I play on a flag football team in a city league in cleveland
I coached for years (football)
I golf twice a week in the summer
I am on a dodgeball team at our local bar (they have a league, it's awesome)
I also play on a volleyball team

Sports until I die brehs. Good for the body, good for the mind. (also allows me to drink beer afterwards, my wife don't do this shit ha ha)

Three years ago, it was vidya, alcohol, movies, and alcohol.

Now, after dragging myself out of depression, I spend most of my free time playing and watching basketball, going to our local gym, and watching movies.

Insert occasional beers in there too. Video games phase in and out of my free time depending on what mood I'm in.

Awesome, glad to see you clawed your way out of that. Have a friend going through it right now, all he wants to do is sleep all day and then drink and play video games. Pretty sad and makes you feel bad you can't help pull them out.

We're taking him out tonight, I think the key is to keep them doing stuff to prevent them from tuning out the world. Sound about right?

I've neglected reading ever since my courseload hit me hard. It's like I got burnt out via the pages and pages of textbooks I have to go through.

I do have a Kindle though, and I should probably use it soon.

I'm still depressed because hey, its the human condition, but anything I can do to not be alone during the day makes me feel better. So that means surrounding myself with people in basketball, the gym, or going to my local bar to watch basketball/bullshit with the bar staff.

yeah, school is when I took up graphic novels. Used to read a lot of books in high school, but when you have 100 pages a day in college, comics look more appealing. then I just got really into them and didn't stop. though I'm starting to hit a wall where I feel like I'm running out of actually good stuff to read and all that left is superheroes and bad manga.

Videogame obssession comes and goes. There will be some times where I will play them every possible chance I get, then long stretches of months (and even years) where I don't play them at all.

I run a lot (20-25 miles a week), but when I've got actual all to myself free time at home (ie. kid is in bed, wife is asleep/busy) I normally play a game. I'll beat Sen no Kiseki II one of these days...

That's what we do as well. Even if we're both on our phones, it's nice just to sit together. However, she goes to bed before I do a lot, and unless she wants me to follow her to the bedroom, I'll stay up and play a game for a bit. She also travels to Boston regularly for work, so I tend to have free time after I get our daughter to bed.
