Given your average Texan's predilection to the "bigger is better" mentality, a better thought for the day would be: "Does Texas advertise the world's BIGGEST midgets or the world's SMALLEST midgets?"

You're misinterpreting Texas. By "biggest" they mean best. So it would actually be the Biggest Smallest Midget.

Vularai is an anagram for Valuair, a Singapore-based low-cost carrier. It was launched in 2004, offering initial services to Bangkok and Hong Kong. It differentiates itself from other low-cost carriers in that it offers frills such as a baggage allowance of over 20 kg, in-flight food, allocated seats, and 32 inch seat pitch. Acquired in 2005 by Jetstar Asia Airways, the Valuair brand was retained for Jetstar Asia's scheduled services to major cities in Indonesia until October 2014.

Kinda makes you think, don't it?

Beans, a staple of Tex-Mex cuisine, have been associated with chili as far back as the early 20th century.[9] The question of whether beans "belong" in chili has been a matter of contention among chili cooks for a long time. While it is generally accepted that the earliest chilis did not include beans, proponents of their inclusion contend that chili with beans has a long enough history so as to not be considered "inauthentic."[10] The Chili Appreciation Society International specified in 1999 that, among other things, cooks are forbidden to include beans in the preparation of chili for official competition—nor are they allowed to marinate any meats.[11]

"Texas-style chili" may or may not contain beans and may even be made without other vegetables whatsoever besides chili peppers.[12] President Lyndon B. Johnson's favorite chili recipe became known as "Pedernales River chili" after the location of his Texas Hill Country ranch. It calls for eliminating the traditional beef suet (on Johnson's doctor's orders, after Johnson suffered a heart attack while he was Senate Majority Leader) and adds tomatoes and onions. Johnson preferred venison, when available, to beef, as Hill Country deer are leaner than most beef.[13] Lady Bird Johnson, the First Lady, had the recipe printed on cards to be mailed out because of the many thousands of requests the White House received for it.[14]

I've spent significant portion of my career paying taxes for Texas (PPT and SUT). I call bullshit on their supposed hatred for taxes.

Did I tell this here? Oh well.
I went to Texas a few weeks ago for a client and I went to the CORPORATE cafeteria (not some crazy eatery place) for lunch. Their lunch for that day was a "double dog bacon cheese burger". The description said it was a bacon cheese burger with TWO hot dogs on top of it. I  was pretty sure they must've gotten the description wrong so I ordered it. Nope. They weren't wrong.   :beli

Found this quote today and I think it says a lot about where we are right now as a society and where we need to go:

Quote from: John Lennon
It's a rare condition, this day and age, to read any good news on the newspaper page. Love and tradition of the grand design, some people say it's even harder to find. Well, then there must be some magic clue inside these tearful walls, because all I see is a tower of dreams, real love bursting out of every seam. As days go by, we're gonna fill our house with happiness. The moon may cry; we're gonna smother the blues with tenderness. When days go by. there's room for you, room for me, for gentle hearts an opportunity. As days go by, it's the bigger love of the family.

If buzzed driving is drunk driving, what point of differentiation (if any) exists between being drunk and being buzzed that necessitates the added degree of lexical ambiguity presented by the use of the two terms? ???

I just saw a tax return where a family that went to Europe on vacation and earned gross income in the top 90th percentile got to take the child tax credit because unforeseen circumstances took place. *pouts, wrings hands, strikes up violin quartet*

Sausage's avatar is scary and disturbing.

The car in Ferrariman's avatar looks upset about something.
