I think it's scheduled for a summer release on pc, although I can't find any definitive info on that with a quick google.

I stumbled on a gaf post explaining it.  there currently isn't a PC date but the guy is aiming for June.

two months isn't bad and I have a backlog of other games, and pillars of eternity, but it's a new metroid and that's tempting.

Read the USGamer review today and this sounds pretty interesting... they say it changes things up a bit from the typical Metroid formula to differ itself. I have some PSN money so I'll be picking this up soon, who knows when I will get to it though.

I bought it yesterday but haven't done much outside of picking up the first two weapons and then had to call it quits so I could make dinner for the kids.  Hopefully I'll have some time this weekend so I can play it for reals.

The first story twist  :o

You start chasing a copy of yourself and then get to a boss only to find that your copy has turned into the boss and that YOU are the boss and you PLAY as the boss. I was like  :o :o :o

Played a bit, just got the Glitch Gun thing. Cool game, I like how it conveys the feeling of playing an NES game slowly glitching up on you...

So many games have tried to get the Metroid formula down and most get close but ultimately come up short. This is the first game since probably Metroid: Zero Mission that has managed to get it right.

The way this game hides some of the upgrades and requires combining multiple mechanics in not-so-obvious ways is ingenious.

Got about 50% of the map done, got the grappling hook,

hit a few of the 'glitched' zones
[close]

and am now not sure where to go... made it really far to the top of the map but hit a dead end. So now I'm backtracking to the first few areas of the game. The map is really huge, and there seems to be a ton of shit to collect. Game also is quite challenging... save points are spaced far enough apart but not ridiculously far, and enemies hit hard.

Some of the ways you have to use the grapple + some of the other mechanics is so fucking cool. When you pull it off you feel like a cool motherfucker.

I'm at the final boss and it's a real jerk. I think I'm gonna go back and look for upgrades to make it easier.

Limited Run Games has just released a physical Wii U edition, 6,000 copies. I thought that was overy ambitious, but half has been sold already. The second half is going on sale tonight.

I wonder if this will be the final Wii U release?
