I did some tutorial bits. I think its great, works well on console and its an actual MMO. Definitely gonna put time into it.

Do I need to spend 50 dollars to get the right gear or can I go pretty far without investment?

I'm level 17 on one character and 10 on another. Seems decent enough so far although I'm certainly no mmo expert.
