Associating with people who are preoccupied with their bodily health might be a bigger trip into :mindblown fuckery than going red was. :lawd

BTW, I found out about these because the singles site is sponsoring a fondo I want to race in this fall. I can't wait to whip out a pack of unfiltered cigarettes and light up while these people ice up, eat fair trade granola, and engage in other treasured cactivities.

I know someone who became convinced they were gluten intolerant (which is discrimination imo) because everytime they ate this one thing they got a rash and they couldn't find out if it had gluten in it or not, which of course is the rational conclusion to come to.

They also thought they were lactose intolerant, but only to pasteurized milk, so they only drank soy milk. But cheeses and ice cream were fine. Or something. I don't know.

They also hate mushrooms, which would be a felony if I was in charge. Which of course I wouldn't enforce by violence but polite suggestion.

^reminds me of the people who say they're "sensitive" to MSG, since they don't know/ignore how common glutamic acid already is as a metabolite. I'm almost certain there's a direct correlation between people with foodie superstitions and posting everything they eat to Instagram.

There was some show where they took people to a Chinese restaurant and people were going on about the headaches and how they felt they were going to pass out and some were vomiting from all the MSG.

Only none of the food had been cooked with MSG. And some of the people were like "no, it had to be, I could taste it" and "maybe some was still in the pans" and shit.

Tried to find it but instead found this, The 700 Club exposes a silent killer worse than alcohol and drugs, MSG:

Campbell's Soup is giving your child brain damage and making them stupid AND LESS ABLE TO DO COMPLEX TASKS AND YOU WON'T KNOW FOR TEN YEARS and causing ADD because of MSG and babies are tiny so they get LARGER DOSES.

Most of this diet dogma is people coping with the aftermath of nervous breakdowns. At some point their brains broke and they are trying to piece together a plan that will make them feel 'normal' again. Usually people who are very adverse to drugs or doctors.

So, there is no doubt that people 'feel better' when partaking on these (or any) diets. Placebo and ritualized eating are a hell of a drug.
