well, growing up in the church, i've known a few people who were closeted (because they thought i was closeted ), but not to the extent of getting married and having a family. though i'd imagine that pressure is much greater in certain corners than others.

hah, when I was 15 or so some chick tried to set me up with her friend who was... obviously not straight as much as you can be obviously not straight in a church setting and my awkward self just declined but didn't really go into why. and then she tried to counsel me on my sexual orientation a week or so later and I had to make it clear i wasn't into dudes. tbh it did kinda mess my head up for a bit because i was fairly insecure as a person so I thought well maybe i'm just in denial.
