Grocery shopping, passing by the MIO ENERGY isle...hey, they're on sale, I suppose one bottle can't hurt, right?

Came home with green thunder, pineapple spark, blue citrus, and acai berry.

To be fair I'm trying to cut back on drinking and need to lean more heavily on another vice in the meantime. It's maybe the lesser of 2 evils.

I did it at a business dinner surreptitiously. It just made the booze taste bad, but I was deep in a binge cycle when this happened so my experience is probably unreliable.

BTW black cherry does not pair well with coffee.

Review: it was like drinking those awful chocolate covered cherries that you get as gifts this time of year, which sounds worse than it was. Only the last sip was really disgusting, almost as viscous as syrup.

I used two healthy (i.e. until air pressure was lost) squirts in a cup prepared with the espresso size setting on the Keurig on an empty stomach. It gave me a mild arrhythmia.

They're soda-lite, so not as bad as other soft drinks, but I can't really afford liquid calories being a fat fuck.

While I consider caloric Mio Energy borderline heretical, it's tough to argue with a Mio Energy that's quite pleasant to drink compared to the stock flavors.

Also big ups to CVS for finally carrying this stuff, even if it's usually just a flavor.

BTW, no one ask me what my consumption rate was from January through April. (At one point I worked 7 weeks straight.)
