I kinda want Batman to punch him really hard in the face.  like really, really hard.

if that's the intention, well done on their part.

Really just a reason to have Jared Leto shirtless as often as possible in the movie.

The secret best part of All Star Batman and Robin is the time scale. Batman and Robin spend like three issues driving to the Batcave or something which the story indicates took like a day or more while like a weeks worth of events happen outside the Batmobile. I may be remembering the details wrong, but the time scale was fucked, I know that.

Second secret best part  :nsfw

Quote
The “THE DARK KNIGHT III: THE MASTER RACE” is the sequel to Miller’s 1986 classic THE DARK KNIGHT RETURNS – heralded by TIME Magazine as one of the 10 greatest graphic novels of all time – and its 2001-2002 follow-up series BATMAN: THE DARK KNIGHT STRIKES AGAIN.

Miller will be joined by acclaimed writer Brian Azzarello (100 BULLETS, JOKER, and WONDER WOMAN) on the eight-issue comic book periodical, to be published twice a month under the DC Comics imprint.  Marking the 30th anniversary of THE DARK KNIGHT RETURNS original series, this periodical is slated for publication beginning in late Fall 2015.

“Batman remains my favorite comic book hero and a sequel to Dark Knight is going to be daunting," said Miller, "but we’ll do our best.”

“We are thrilled to have Frank back home at DC writing Batman,” according to Dan DiDio and Jim Lee, Co-Publishers for DC Entertainment. “The story he and Brian have crafted is an astounding and triumphant conclusion to this seminal body of work which influenced and shaped generations of readers and creators alike.”

According to Azzarello, “It's been an amazing experience collaborating with Frank these past six months. I think we have an epic story that these characters truly deserve.”

As an angry, reactionary, dying old white man Frank Miller is really the only one fit to still be writing Batman stories imo.

I want to pretend DC hired Azzarello to make the whole thing end the same way 100 Bullets did so Frank stops pestering them to write more in his Batman universe.

Someone photoshopped the tattoos off of him but I don't feel like it has the same effect.

LOL of all the inspirations I never thought they'd go with Frank Miller's insane magnum opus ASBAR. :lol And then somehow find a way to fuck even THAT up. :lol :lol

Then again it makes sense as BvS looks to be TDK Returns inspired. Gotta suck at that lame Miller teet I guess.

Eh, remove the "damaged" and "hahahahahaha" or the smile off him and replace them with something else (while keeping his forehead clear) and it wouldn't be that awful. That said, I'll give Leto the benefit of the doubt and that he knows what he's doing. Similar to Ledger.

Just let's hope he doesn't end up offing himself due to the "research" into the role.

Wow that's some garbage. Suicide Squad sucks and the movie was always going to suck, but you can at least get The Joker right.

I dunno, wouldn't Joker be a protagonist in Suicide Squad? I can't ever see that working for him as a character.

A Dafoe Joker would have been great

Anyway, GAF is just too much. People want to save that thread so they can deliver crow in the future if Leto's Joker turns out good, which people expect; it's just that the design is bad. It's not a good comparison to the reveal of Ledger as the Joker.

Thanks to this thread I found out that there's a DC animu with:

-Kevin Conroy Batman
-THE SUICIDE SQUAD
-King fucking Shark
-motherfucking KGBeast
-A faithful representation of Amanda Waller (eat shit in CW hell, Arrow)

Tonally it's been pretty faithful to the nu-52 Sui which I enjoyed in spite of the fact that no one fucking died in it. :obama

Killer Frost is tsundere for King Shark too. :uguu

e: :rofl Harley Quinn just yelled, "Yahtzee!" after orgasming. :rofl :bow DC/WB :bow2 :piss Marvel :piss2

e2: OMFG I just realized that Spencer Reid is The Riddler's voice actor. GOAT Batman TAS thing. :bow2
