I like the aftermath of mulch/landscape stuff. Seeing how cool everything looks, and knowing
you did that shit...that's a great feeling. That being said, nothing is worse than starting the mulching/landscaping. I remember many summers as a kid where my parents would have a huge pile of mulch dumped in the driveway, and we'd work on it throughout the week. Front of the house, sides, backyard...fuck. As a kid that always felt like a death sentence, especially when you're friends started riding past the house on their bikes.

I'd say the coolest yard project I ever did was building a deck when I was a kid. Me, my brothers, my dad, and one of his friends. I don't remember how long it took us but I remember working on it in the summer and fall/early winter. Built it out of trex. It still looks great to this day, whereas the wooden decks our neighbors made look pretty bleh and required various makeovers.
