The Producers is a musical masterpiece

  • It was all going to be very admirable and noble and it would show us - philosophically - what it means to be human.

Brecht was meant to be performed by liberal arts college drama departments.

Off-Broadway original JCM Hedwig and the Angry Inch is my thing.

My wife is a singing dancing Sondheim fangirl.

I've heard of that production when I visited Japan out of all places. Seems like it has quite a cult following there.

I’m a fop for Les Miserables; several songs on that are waterworks toggles for me. Really embarrassing.

Yes, the Yusnaan performance was grand.

But so was maria and draco from FFVI - especially the current modern rendition

Such an excellent cut-scene, but I didn't sense any self-awareness like some GAFfers did.

I live in the Twin Cities, really we're spoiled for great performance art here.

Jersey Boys is currently in town, but I'm not interested. Do have a few shows slotted for this summer though.

Hair & Anna in the Afterlife were the last two I saw.
Hair is still Hair and Anna in the Afterlife....well I left, didn't get to finish it cause I didn't like it.

Might go see Jersey Boys since it's apparently coming here soon.
