Pretty much just with food, and they're more aspergery than OCD I guess.

I don't like a shit ton of ingredients/tastes in my food. Fewer the better. For example, I almost always just want cheese pizza, no toppings.

I caught every single Pokemon.

If I see dust or dirt or grime on something I can't go by it without wiping it off.

I keep my room, bathroom, and kitchen organized and sparse. Like, military-level almost.

well i assume we're jokingly using ocd habits but if say i go on vacation the clothing i typically bring is all of a tailored nature and I iron them every day, which is apparently unusual.

i don't iron underwear or socks but i do hand wash many of my garments  :-*

yes and the worst thing is none of them are remotely productive in any way. like, i imaging people who are ocd on cleaning might overdo cleaning but it still has the side benefit of helping to get things clean?????? well my obsessive habits aren't like that at all.

Always wash my hands after pissing. Why? Because when I shit I flush immediately after wiping. While getting shit on your hands is a 1/300 shits sorta deal, your hand was close to shit, and then you touch something afterwards (toilet handle).

I hate wasting food, something has to be utter shit for me not to finish it.

I check my pockets in 10/whatever minute increments to see if I dropped anything or forgot something.

Will often check to make sure that doors (at home) are locked several times before walking away.  Used to check to make sure that my phone alarm was set several times before going to bed, but successfully got myself to stop doing this.  Working on the door thing.

I'm not joking. If I were to find you pulling sheets off my bed and throwing them on the ground I'd probably have to leave immediately and go sit down somewhere for a minute and count down from 50.

Also you just sorta have to handwash some things.
oh then no. my kids kind of killed anything like that from me. i marinate in defeat on a regular basis.

1) Hand washing, not cause of germs. I hate that feeling of sweat or grease on them. :holeup
Summer's right around the corner. The fucking humidity. :stahp

But on the whole, this:
No, not really. Sometimes I can be a little bit O, but it's neither C or D.

I'll go first:

1) Hand washing, not cause of germs. I hate that feeling of sweat or grease on them. :holeup

2) I demand my bed be in impeccable shape. I make it exactly the way I fucking want it, nice and taut.

And if you sit on that shit without asking me :ufup :ufup may mother earth help you.

I have that issue with the hand-washing... hate that feeling of grease on them. What makes it worse is that I've got very greasy skin by nature (greasy wop :P) In fact I make sure to always wash my hands before playing games.

Also, I hate having that shit collecting at the top of a hot sauce / ketchup bottle. Always have to wipe those down after using them.

One corner of my bed sheet has been pulled out, leaving part of the mattress exposed for like a week now and I haven't yet found the motivation to tuck it back in.

Sometimes after doing laundry I won't remake the bed for days and just a sleep on the bare mattress.

If I eat a burger and fries I eat the fries before the burger.

i do this too :lol but i'll eventually sort of taper into the burger as i get closer to the fries.

my grandpa used to eat like this too, he'd eat one kind of food on his plate at a time then switch to the next.

I actually do this too now that I think of it.

Sometimes if I'm at a like a Thai restaurant and the plate comes with some carved carrot flower and garnish bullshit on the side, I eat the garnish first.

Unmade beds :holeup

I get such a huge dose of dopamine when I come home and see my bed made. :lawd Same with a clean bed and kitchen.

When I walk through the door and see it's unmade (happened once or twice in the last three years) I feel like I've just eaten really bad seafood.  :-X

I prefer to use the term anal retentive for myself. I prefer things clean and orderly, and certain things bother me but its directly tied to the fact that I have to be in control of myself, what I eat, etc. But I can usually turn it off if I'm busy, etc. Except food, I am weird about food always - can't mix a ton of food together, have too many ingredients on a sandwich, weird about the consistency, etc.

My husband holds the OCD card in our family. Turns things three times, can't focus on anything until the single cup in the sink is washed, will turn the car around if he didn't check the garage door "enough". Shit he tried making the bed today with my clean clothes laying there while I was trying to change for work. He literally could not wait 5 seconds.

I personally can't eat a burger & fries without having water or something at the same time.
I see these dudes out here eating an entire meal without taking a drink of something. I can't do that. Feel like I'd choke.

the worst thing for me is right after eating or drinking. if i have to go a while without washing my hand, especially if it's something that i can smell from my hands like barbecue i'll slowly lose my mind

for me it's so bad I won't touch my phone after a meal without washing my hands  :-\

If I eat a burger and fries I eat the fries before the burger.

Opposite for me.

Same here. Fries are ancillary to the meal. It's better to have left over fries than burger if you've had your fill.

Really? I can't stand to let good fries go cold/lukewarm. The burger can withhold its heat for longer and doesn't need to be as hot for me to enjoy.

I wash my hands after peeing because I'm not a savage, but isn't it sciencefact you'd probably be better off washing before because you're hands are more likely to get your dick dirty than the other way around?

Yeah. Just like how your kitchen sink is actually dirtier than your toilet bowl.

I bleach my kitchen sink and counters after preparing raw meat because America's food supply is a disease dispersing disaster.

I didn't notice a lot of the habits I had until I read some of these responses.
Things mentioned already that I do too:
      • Eat food in order. Fries before burger etc.  Matter fact I used to disassemble all my sandwiches if a limited menu forced me to get one.  I've stopped doing this, but I still try to minimize the ingredients that go into them if I have the option.
      • If I have a drink I won't take a sip until my plate is empty (exceptions for when the food is REALLY dry).
      • Check that my alarms are set before bed.
      • Check keys (and ID when I'm on campus) 5-6 times before going out the the door.

      Other stuff:
      • I don't do condiments.  Ketchup tastes like someone spit all over my fries.  Why on earth do people like this?
      • Can't put down a book until I've finished the chapter
      • I keep a lot of lists.
      • I've been having trouble staying asleep for the past year.  Started writing down the time in a google drive file before bed and again once I wake up.  I keep notes on anything unusual that might have happened (homework kept me up, sinuses, nocturnal emissions, got up to pee, etc.).
      • I have a list for every show I'm watching how far I am in them, and which streaming service I last watched it on.
      • Started keeping similar notes for every piece of music I download.  This was after noticing how much stuff I already have on my PC that I just never got around to.  I include artist and album obviously but also date I got it, date I first listened to it, and how much I paid for it.  If I knew an easy way to find the length of an album at a glance I'd include that too.  I can use Wikipedia for the more famous stuff, but I have too many mixtapes by obscure artists for that to be useful.
      • Speaking of album length, I like choosing which album to listen to based on the task I'm doing.  Breakfast? Pick a 20-30 minute EP.  Dinner?  Takes a bit more time to prepare, but I usually do homework during dinner so I want the music to be over once the food is ready.  Ideal length is 34-36 minutes.  Going to and from the gym + post work out meal takes about 2 hours so I have a lot more freedom there.  Sometimes I'll pick a longer than average (70-80 minute) album and a shortish (<45 minutes) one.  Other times I'll pick two hour long ones.  Never really been one to make playlists.

Not really related, but when the bus you've been waiting for shows up right at the end of a song :lawd

Another one that just came to mind:  If a forum has a post preview function but no Coli-style quick reply, I'll almost always preview my post at least once.  Hell I previewed this one about ten times just to get the formatting right.
That's all I can think of right now.
