You know, I've never tried Absinthe. I've been meaning to, but I don't know any bar that carries it.

Get a mini (200 mL?) bottle of La Clandestine instead. They're $30 or so and if you don't like it you won't be wasting that much absinthe when you toss it, but if you do like it there's plenty to drink. (You only use about an ounce to prepare a glass.)

It's a clean absinthe too so you don't have to worry about not liking a unique additive. (St. Georges adds honey, for example.)
