Never had real authentic ramen until a month ago. Wasn't impressed.

Shit costs like 13 bucks and it wasn't any better than the custom ramen my dad and I made when I was a teenager (put a bunch of ramen in a pot, add green onions, beef broth, sausage, beef, chicken, veggies in that bitch). Further, it wasn't even touching the pho I've ate for half that price. This city has a higher Vietnamese population than Japanese, but still.

and felt like a waste of money. Tasted like spiced up Maruchan. I could deal if it were like 6 bucks, but at 13 I was expecting god-tier noodles.
Makes me skeptical trying any other ramen due to a bad first experience, but I'm just going to chalk it up a blah ramen place and try another joint when I get the chance. But
