I don't get the hate for DS2. Yeah, it probably ultimately wasn't as good as DS1, but it was still a top-shelf 3rd person action-RPG. I'll definitely buy another if they keep putting it on the PC.

Although, I still haven't played the DS2 DLC yet.

I don't think people remember how garbo DS1 was after Anor Londo.

The Gutter sucked ass, but at least it wasn't Lost Izalith.  :yuck

Lost Izalith is the only part I can remember being total ass :yeshrug

And the bosses were far too easy in DS2, but really it was a good game, it just didn't have that "holy shit" quality the 1st did.

Tried to setup DS1 pc the other day.

This has to be one of the worst ports of the last decade right? I assume they fixed shit up a little for DS2?! Never finished artorias of the abyss, figured i'd do a pc playthrough. This port though..... Jesus. Took me over an hour just to get the mods working and not crashing my pc every time i booted the game  :shaq2

DS1 needs Durante's patch before it starts to work properly, DS2 still has a Durante patch but you're fine without it.

Looks good. Getting DS1 vibes from it.

Love Bloodborne, but not sure about bringing that kind of speed to Souls.

Looks like something between Demon's and BB in terms of rolling speed/enemy aggressiveness.

Was kinda hoping we'd get to go back to the slower DS combat. Loved the combat in BB, but in a perfect world I'd like both to be doing their own things.

from the little snips, the game looks like it plays more closely to DS1/BB.

but we'll see. it was super subtle but DSII felt all wrong so it will take more videos to really get a better idea.

Will buy!

Still need to get DS2 PS4 first, surely there will be some nice little sale for that.

I picked up a copy from Amazon.co.uk the other day when they had a £10 off offer.

Ideally I'd like to pay 200 DKK max for it. That's a price I'd spend on a digitial version even.

It's 449 in shops now.

I want to finish Bloodborne first. Maybe I went for a lousy character build, but I'm finding it more difficult than both Demon's Souls and Dark Souls.

The slow and heavy axe. Most of the time in two-handed mode for extra reach.

I used Ludwigs Holy Blade and was able to "stunlock" a few bosses.

It's pretty fast and you can get a nice few hits in.
