Have to say I don't like the implication from this thread that the recent reddit drama is indicative that not supporting the existence of forums that message people death/rape threats while doxxing their personal information and going on social media harassment brigades equates you to participating in a hugbox.
I also don't appreciate that such behavior should be taken as a joke.
All in all, the joke is badly timed, and i'm not sure what Cruncheon is trying to achieve here. Are you saying that trying to make a website a safe space is a bad thing and that people who try to do so are participants in hug box thinking? Are our concerns not legitimate and worth mocking?
How am I to construe your post? Because it certainly isn't funny, especially in light of the fact that sites are legitimately trying to recruit for hate speech across social media sites. People even lurk this site to create hateful content outside of it. Yes you are not taking this seriously and deem it worth mocking. Or did you not think this through when you made this topic?
