I'm expecting a medium budget PS4 game. The pre-rendered parts that they used to promote DQ10 looked fine and the PS4 should be powerful enough to draw it in real time.

hasn't square been releasing a bunch of DQ stuff on the 3ds over the last few years? i think this is most likely going to be on that platform

Well then...

I was banking on either PS4 or 3DS because they are both the best sellers of their respective type of system, but I did not expect both! Might get it on the 3DS since I lack a PS4 at the moment and I kind of prefer handhelds when it comes to RPGs. Hopefully the 3DS version will turn out well (and I certainly hope the PS4 version doesn't get any compromises for the 3DS version's sake)

Stayed up to watch. 3DS and PS4, seems similar to the Ni no Kuni release with DS and PS3.

The 3DS version looks much further along, I'm guessing they decided to make a PS4 version later on. PS4 version looks hot hot hot. 3DS version looks like a cleaner DQIX and the bottom screen is 16-bit 2D. Very cool.

Also DQX is coming to PS4.

The double screen styles on the 3ds version look super distracting. Why not just allow you to pick a style and put all the menus on the bottom screen? Even in that brief snippet I didn't know if I should look at the top screen or the bottom one during the one cut scene.

Both versions looked great. Really liked the miture of 2D and 3D wih the 3DS version.

Both versions look awesome, I love the DQ6-ish style on the 3DS bottom screen. Also thrilled that DQ is coming back to console! Will get both versions!

This console gen is seriously starting to deliver!

That's kind of my assumption as well.

3DS version looks rad. 3D gameplay on top screen, 2D sprites on bottom. Surprised more games haven't tried that interplay.

game looks great but I'm still holding my breath til a localization is announced. I wish square Enix would remember that they're a Japanese company that still has a huge fanbase around the world. speaking of which, whatever happened to the localization of final fantasy agito lol

Honestly, the only people who should be upset are Xbox and PC fans, neither of which would play this anyways.

I'd love some cross-play capabilities with the Vita where you could play the 16-bit version on the Vita while playing the PS4 version on the big screen.
