I understand why black people love the Clintons. The 90s were a different time, specifically 1992. Having a president openly embrace black people, black culture, black interests, etc at the time was important. Not to mention the fact that the Crime Bill was supported by most black communities and politicians at the time. Do I like the prison industry complex the Clintons helped create? To be honest, I find this to be the opposite, though maybe it's the area where I live (we practically invented "GTL" culture here). Nearly everyone I know in my age cohort has a gym membership and they go regularly.* Plus millenials seem a bit more interested in eating healthy / organic / non-gmo and don't really eat as much fast food as the Xers I know.

*except for me, I fell off the map recently. But now that I'm single I gotta get back into it, maybe try some yoga classes or something...
