I mean I don't think it is wrong to use a college degree as a shortcut in determining who to date. I more just take issue with the idea of someone's value as a human being tied to whether or not they have a college degree. Or implying that maybe it isn't earning the degree that confers value, but only those worth anything as people can obtain one.
