Well, I wasn't really saying your opinion is wrong or anything. Just, IMO short sighted.

I liked the OG X-box, even the 360 pre-Mattrick was amazing. Now a days? They have Windows 10 (despite "privacy concerns" that are valid it's a solid OS). They have the MS Surface (as overpriced for mass market as it may be), their phones--as unsupported as they are by developers--are pretty good (IMO). Office is great, but since they started to do that 365 sub shit, I had to jump out (heh) and go with free alternatives like Google Docs/Spredsheet or *shudder* LibreOffice.

SQL - Oracle trumps it on the enterprise level, although expensive and has shit tools, MySQL is free has decent tools but is a shitshow to administer and you dont really have to deal with Oracle for MySQL but down the line you probably will. Sql management studio is fucking ace though.
Exchange - untoucable.
Lync/Skype for Business - lol
Virtualization (Enterprise) - VMWare is the way to go for enterprise visualization
Systems Management (SCCM) havent used this, I still manage stuff via a custom MMC console.
Packaged Application Virtualization - This is neat but it's existed on other platforms for decades
