I switched one of my sites over to HTTPS this year. Wasn't trivial but wasn't super hard either.

The biggest bitch was the images. If you have user-generated content and want to switch to HTTPS that's where your issues are going to be. Mixed content warnings errrrrywhere.

I drew a line in the sand and manually forced all images to be served over HTTPS or break, which fixed the issue but caused a small outcry. Still, better safe than unsafe. Thankfully Imgur, Giphy, et al all support HTTPS too.

In my opinion, the entire web should be encrypted, including mostly "read only" sites such as blogs.

One of my favs though are no spoilers on movies that have long been out or permeated culture in such a way that you're confused how someone could not know certain plot points. I'd say if someone's enjoyment hinges on that first experience, of not knowing and then knowing, that piece of media isn't that significant or worthwhile. In the case of Star Wars, its the masterful melodrama in Empire Strike's Back that makes it special, the execution of all the plot points, rather than the plot points themselves.

Knowing spoilers ahead of time also increases tension, as you're anticipating the approach of something and that itself builds hype.

I saw some gameplay of someone using the bow and while it was pretty bad quality (off screen, iPhone), it kinda reminded me of "the Last of Us"'s multiplayer more than Uncharted.

Agreed. Spoiler culture has gotten so ridiculous. I remember the Guardians of the Galaxy thread where people were bitching about the Thanatos reveal and talking about how it was ruining everything. Then some poster found that many of the top complainers had actually known about the Thanatos thing months earlier, and forgotten about it, because it wasn't a fucking huge deal until it was declared to be a spoiler.

Final boss fight of Uncharted 2 left a real sour taste in my mouth. Actually those final chapters kinda sucked in general.
