Whereas GAF moderators gain it through their enforcement of civil and inclusive discourse that allows facts and evidence to prevail. They become examples of pure character and hearts.

Except for Steve Youngblood obviously.

MHWilliams can be one of those guys who grinds a thread down to one specific issue through sheer force of will. With "care posts" as noted above. But he does seem to be fairly reasonable, that doesn't always transition over to moderation though. You can just ban a guy with a snarky drive-by comment and get applause vs. laboring through a point-by-point analysis nobody else reads. I'd just assume he'd stay the same and prefer to debate over ban.

Though I've only really seen him in race/politics threads.
