I like how everybody attributes the destruction of Sin in FFX to the minority Al Bheds, when they really only helped in the last 10% of the game.

 It was the Yevonites who have been dying for countless generations, and a special Yevonite group lead by Grand Summoner Yuna eventually won the war against Sin. 

 Yet they throw in meaningless messages about "plight of the Al Bhed" and the racism against them as if it matters, when in actuality, they did jack shit until the very end.

Looking it up to make sure, Yuna and Rikku are cousins, Yuna's father married an Al Bhed. Cid is Yuna's uncle, so Wakka probably finds out when they're all gathered on the airship for the first time in FFX.

In the car industry, manufacturers share so many components with each other that really it just comes down to who can make a decent looking car with all the features that's as reliable and as cheap as possible. White knighting a brand is a pretty bad look even among enthusiasts (nowadays).
