In every single thread where police get flak, I wanna say 1/300 posters will post about the war on drugs and how that has fostered and influenced how police interact with black people, any minority, the poor, the homeless. There isn't some arcane racist cult in Louisiana that do rituals to keep police shitty. As long as the war on drugs continues, innocent people will continue going to prison and getting killed.

Gaffers treat the police issue like you can legitimately get rid of all the issues by flushing every current cop down a ginormous toilet and start fresh.

What is even the problem here ? Is he not just saying that repression cannot fix everything, especially issues with deeper social roots ? He seems to be mostly indicting public authorities in all this, not just putting all the burden on the "community". He's having a bit of a recruitment talk, but I mean... It is expected. Yeah the whole "fatherless black kids" point can be debated, but the overall point seems to be made in good faith.

Holy shit are people (willingfully ?) obtuse in that thread too : "What is he even talking about, no one is asking cops to marry single parents to fix houselholds LOL"

It's pretty plain he's talking about how police is supposed to deal with the consequences of that.

Yes. I'm paraphrasing but it was something along the lines of "someone rolled this feature out against my wishes while I was asleep and the specifications were never finalized, this fuckup never should have happened". Instead of taking the L for something going wrong, he did the most passive aggressive thing possible and threw the people helping/working for him under the bus publicly.

we'll see how special it is if NX flops. They have a shit foothold in hardware and potential to make ungodly amounts of money in mobile gaming right now. It'll be interesting to see what NX is!
