Everybody who needs to uses metric anyway, it's just for social things like height, weight, how far you're driving, temperature, etc. that people use imperial and it's because one who grows up under the system can "picture" it when somebody says a guy is 400lbs or it's 90 degrees out. The cultural transition required isn't worth the hassle because industry, sciences, government, etc. already changed on their own.

Also once they take our yards away they'll replace our real MANLY AMERICAN football with sissy metric football.

Moore actually was done with DC after Watchmen, he only wrote The Killing Joke as a favor to the artist/friend, Brian Bolland who was more the "lead" on the project's basics/origins.

Personally, I've never thought it was the "definitive" or best Joker story. Though I always like Oracle Barbara more than Batgirl Barbara, even the New 52 version. Cassandra's my gurl.

The Man Who Laughs is probably better at establishing him as a villain...and Joker is more interesting.

I must disclose that my favorite part of Morrison's run probably was his version of The Joker.

Also, I'm glad Snyder didn't explicitly restore The Joker before the New 52 went defunct. Even if The Joker becomes normal with Batman gone story was done years ago in the hott Legends of the Dark Knight series.

They couldn't just like The Last of Us, it had to be the citizen kane of video games. It's what happens when these people have no personal accomplishments: they glom onto pop culture and assign their self worth based off of what they like to watch, where they shitpost on the internet, etc.

What disappoints me isn't just that Trevor Noah and Larry Wilmore aren't funny, (they aren't) it's that they are just shooting spitballs. Wilmore doesn't care about making a difference or teaching you something, he only wants to be another score keeper in some stupid game of race relations. He doesn't care about corruption in politics, poverty, or any other major issue affecting the black community. He just wants to tell you about how some white people screwed over some other black people. The show is entirely token in nature. It has no greater meaning then saying "look how diverse we are!" and "look how rough it is to be black.". Trevor Noah is the same way. He is painfully unfunny and has the same caustic racial attitude as Wilmore, but he's trying desperately to fill Stewart's shoes. What he doesn't understand is that people didn't tune in to The Daily Show when Stewart was there just because it was funny. They tuned in because he had a message. He had something to say. Trevor Noah is happy to make empty jokes about how stupid and racist Trump is, or whichever republican politician is at hand that day, rather than really say something. Noah's routine is all about how racist white people are and stupid people are for voting __. Stewart would have certainly railed against Trump in the same way, but it would have been to teach us something. People aren't voting for Trump because they are stupid and racist. It's because they are scared and uncertain for the future. Both make jokes, but Noah can't see the latter like Stewart could.

I was a huge fan of the show. It is a huge disappoint to me that Wilmore and Noah have turned it into just another unfunny late night show like so many others. It's disappointing to have lost 2 of the most insightful comedians and commentators to a couple of hacks.

TL/DR: The Daily Show/Nightly Show suck because they don't understand what made their predecessors so entertaining, and because they are piss poor comedians.

The speed of the game being too fast to deal with and react to is a constant complaint in these LTTP Sonic threads, and its like, well, this is a children's game. If you're getting hurt just cool your jets slightly until you figure out how to go fast and maneuver around obstacles.
