Making this thread to bring more attention to it separate from the NFL thread. I renewed last year's league with the same teams and settings; please sign up ASAP.

Draft is currently set for Sunday, August 30th at 2 pm Eastern time. If enough people find the following Sunday, September 6th to be better we can change it. Speak up or just deal with it, you jerks.

If you weren't in last year's league and want to play: please post in this thread saying so. I will start an alternates list and on Monday, August 24th if there are still people from last year who haven't signed up, I will rescind their invitations and start sending out invites to alternates.

So, IF YOU PLAYED LAST YEAR AND WANT TO PLAY AGAIN THIS YEAR, YOU MUST SIGN UP BY MONDAY AUGUST 24TH OR FUCK YOU I WILL GIVE YOUR SPOT TO SOMEONE THAT CAN FUCKING PAY ATTENTION.

I see Peterson rated as #2 in most fantasy rankings but dunno...

He should be quite healthy and rested for obvious reasons, but he's still 30 and hasn't played an NFL snap in quite some time. On the plus side I think Bridgewater is a good young QB, the team also has other weapons which should ensure defenses aren't focusing entirely on Peterson. Still I decided to take Lynch instead. In hindsight I wish I had taken Bell, despite the suspension.

Cheddaz fucked me by taking Tom Brady before I thought he'd go... I personally don't think he's going to be suspended at all, I expect the judge to vacate the decision and repeal his suspension. So, I was anticipating getting value by picking him like in the 6th or 7th round, but sure enough Cheddaz swooped in and nabbed Lord Brady in the 5th. Fucker.

Now I'm stuck with Tannehill as my first qb option. I feel like such a fucking peasant.

Quite happy with my RBs, far less so with WRs. Tate's going to have a good year regardless of how good Megatron is; Megatron is more healthy than he's been in two years but I still expect him to miss a couple games.

The first thing I ever do when I sign up for a fantasy league is go to my draft preferences and tell it to exclude kickers and defenses. That way, if for whatever reason I can't make the draft, it won't take either at all. Which is preferable to having it take one in the 8/9 round, which is what it will do as auto-draft automatically fills out your roster before picking bench guys unless you tell it otherwise.
