New Xbox One UI

Basically invites are rolling out but you have to specifically go into the xbox preview app and opt in because a lot of stuff is going to be broken and buggy initially.

There is a post on gaf that details most of this.

So it's going from Metro to a sort of Hybrid Tablet mode<->Metro style interface, on first glance?

I'm not sure why Microsoft has to change their UI for their consoles every two-three years. It's annoying. :-\

That looks easier to use at least. I don't know where anything is in the current UI but I have kinect so I just yell at my xbox to bring me to the right stuff. Being able to specify a time to record a clip with my voice is a nice addition.

I like how he spends the first 2/3rds of the video tugging on his collar and talking about how they got rid of all the spinning circles, and then he selects Achievements and is greeted with a spinning circle

Got the UI last night. Anybody who enrolled in the program should be getting it in the upcoming days. It's legit faster and a bit simpler and organized which is a good thing. It's still a work in progress though. Some things are clearly not finished at the moment. My major gripe so far is that I don't like the feed wall as much as the old feed wall. It needs a lot more love.

Also button remapping is coming to all controllers
