Raw post count is the RBI of forum metrics.

I prefer an elegant statistical model I devised called QPOHA (Quality posts over Himuro and Anime) or

TP (Rnx(2)*Bp(10))

TP (Hx(10) + Anx(1))

It heavily penalizes any post made by Himuro or about anime. So, any value above 1.0 is a good month. I wanted to include abortion posts made by JayDub and any post that ranks Final Fantasy games, but that would have been too much for QP to outperform.

Last month had 5,637 posts, the slowest month yet. For reference, Feb 2015 had 10,036 posts and Feb 2007 had 30,912 posts.

We accepted the Love of Taco Bell so deep and so thoroughly that maybe those who haven't been touched can't understand just how much that love penetrates you, just how much that love drives out the bad things inside you, just how much that love allows you to feel a part of a community.

I think most of the decrease has come on the gaming side, which is fine because video games are stupid.
