You ever play a tripwire game? This will never hit consoles and even a game of theirs like Killing Floor is notoriously difficult.

Yup I loved RO1. I'll pick this up on PC day 1.

RO2 was such a mess on release I've been cautious to trust them again but they did well with KF2.

I liked RO2 well enough, but I 'only' played it for 150 hours, which is pretty low for an online game. Barely touched Rising Storm.

RO2 had a terrible launch but rebounded well. Rising Storm is a GOAT multiplayer expansion, so a Vietnam sequel to that should mean a GOAT Vietnam game.
OH!

I was going to say I thought this was announced ages ago:
Quote
Today, while appearing onstage at the inaugural E3 2015 presentation of The PC Gaming Show, Tripwire Interactive and Anti-Matter Games revealed that Rising Storm 2: Vietnam, the sequel to 2013's critically acclaimed Rising Storm, was officially in development for the PC.
Maybe you should use some more GB of your ISP allotment.

Anti-Matter Games is the studio formed from the community people who worked on Rising Storm. (They also did stuff for KF2 and Evolve.)

Antimatter Games partnered with Impossible Pictures and National Geographic in 2014 to deliver an action-packed six-part hour long documentary series to international television markets that recreated the most daring raids of World War 2 using the Red Orchestra 2/Rising Storm game engine.

A video trailer of our work can be seen above.

Partnering with Impossible Pictures, Antimatter Games created in-game cinematics, motion graphics and a ton of assets for the documentary series 'World War 2's Greatest Raids'.

Running over six hour-long episodes, WW2's Greatest Raids covered some of the most daring and heroic events of the second World War, from the Normandy Landings to engagements in the African theatre.

The show was met with critical acclaim and was a huge success, combining the Rising Storm engine with painstaking research and true survivor stories to create a brilliant, innovative and highly entertaining series.

  • It was all going to be very admirable and noble and it would show us - philosophically - what it means to be human.
