Coming to The Bore to see your world view being dignified.
Nobody is validating your world view that WWE knows what it's doing and is on the precipice of a new golden age.
WWE has no idea what it's doing. However, the talent they have is probably the best they've ever had. As I've said for years, watch NXT.
Also, today's wrestling is undoubtedly a golden age of wrestling. Assuming you ignore WWE that isn't NXT, and that's pretty easy to do, you have easy access to wrestling all over the world with its own style. If you want wacky supernatural elements and actually GOOD sports entertainment, where every episode builds upon the last, in a serialized wrestling story that takes the telenovela history of the medium to its heights, there's Lucha Underground. If you want 1980's esque wrestling where the "story" merely amounts to "I want to be the best", and every single move tells a story, watch NJPW. If you want an Attitude Era feel of grit and storytelling, watch RoH. All of them have weekly shows that are merely an hour long. Combined with NXT, that makes wrestling 4 hours a week. If you don't watch Raw, that's the same amount of time plus one hour. Not much of a time commitment, easily accessible, AND Lucha is currently on break for season 2.
Today's wrestling is definitely in a golden age in terms of talent. It's just that only WWE exclusive watchers ain't in on the action, proving the nubs they are. Only nostalgia lames think the past is better than today's wrestling options.
