Fucked up thing is Bonchan won two major tourneys in Japan, in a row a month or two ago. Sagat is usually a very good pick against most characters.

Momochi won EVO I believe, he got wrecked by Poongko and is now going against luffy.

Gen's health being low makes this matchup really bad as well. A couple mistakes and that's the match. Hate playing as low stamina characters, except El Fuerte.

Being a Blanka and El Fuerte player makes everyone on Xbox live automatically hate you, even if you aren't doing scrubby strategies

Infiltration played that VERY well. He played the immovable wall part so well and he really came close. I think he could have taken it but it looked like he had an execution error and hit the wrong button.

Daigo did straight Daigo. Basic Ryu fundamentals: cr. MK fireball cancels, and space control. The way Daigo was able to bully Infiltration for space was incredible. He simply wouldn't let Infiltration in to Chun's sweet spot.

He had a good comeback, but as soon as Yang had meter it was over. Daigo couldn't handle that offensive.

I'm past ready for something new so I'm glad SFV is two months away. I've enjoyed the hell out of SF4 over the years but it's over seven years old and it's way past time to move on. I hope the new game also shakes things up in the tournament scene, too. Here's hoping for some new blood in the top 16.

Evo is Capcom fighter country, either Street 4 will be there. Or Marvel. But given Marvel's fast decline, I doubt Street 4 will be bumped off for animu or 3D fighters.

Anyway, half the prize-money ($60,000) to Daigo ain't anything to sneeze at. He's in his... late 30's? Mid 30's?
