Some girl in school pointed at a map and said wow Russia is so big. So I explained to her that the Mercator map is warped and that Russia isn't that big.

She was all like "uuh I'm not sure thats true" and then "wow that changes all I ever thought"

Girl next to her also didn't know, despite her studying tourism

Not at all. It actually makes the exhaust run cooler and allows the engine to breathe more freely. You have to tune it a bit to adjust for the new AFR mix, but that's all.

On my flight there were a lot of football fans going home after yesterday's big game. As we were deplaning there was a Carolina Panthers fan decked in a Panthers shirt and cap in front of me trying to get his luggage out of the overhead compartment. It was too big and stuck and he gave it a big yank. It nearly fell on top of him and I quickly reached out a hand and kept it from falling on him. He said "phew thanks!" me being me I couldn't resist and said "yeah wow you nearly fumbled that" with a smile. The combination of the dudes eye daggers he was shooting at me and the chortles of stifled laughter behind told me no one missed my meaning
