To me undecideds are the same people that spend an hour deciding on whether or not they want to put ketchup or mustard on their hot dog.  :doge

What if a whistle blower comes forward to have also been reading Hilary's private emails and reveals that the classified ones actually show that she is into Yaoi Manga?  I'll sit back and wait thank you.

There are two types of undecided voters. Really really dumb people.

Or people who like to pretend they are sophisticated and that there are significant policy differences between candidates. (there aren't)

Lots of undecided people are people who will vote with anyone who they believe will keep things the same for them economically.

Pure conjecture, but I imagine "undecided" for some means "fuck off I'm not debating you"

My thing is that I don't really care. If my vote made any difference I would probably vote for whoever I believe would fuck things up the most just for fun.

I haven't voted for a President since 1996. It's a fools game (but it is fun to watch).

On the GOP side you could be waiting to see who's viable.

On the Dem side you might still be debating whether having Bernie's platform as a symbolic/educational beacon is worth a greater chance of losing the general election.

Or people might just have other hobbies and not have paid much attention.  :yeshrug

Lots of people just don't fucking pay attention at all. For everyone who is outraged with all the crazy shit Trump has said, there are probably an equal if not larger number of people that just don't fucking pay attention until the last couple weeks of the general election. I almost don't blame them- our elections go on too fucking long.

But, anyway, Bernie in the primary and Hillary in the general. Whatevs.

For the sake of the argument, maybe being undecided at this point is the correct thing to do. Too much noise and too many candidates still. If you are not invested in the whole primary stuff which implies some sort of militancy foreign to the majority of people, why would you worry now ? Especially since at this point candidates are probably still able to make fantasy promises. Actual official party platforms outlined for the general election tend to be a little more tame and realistic.
