Trying to add some stuff to Spotify and I have a kick for some live albums.

My favorite is rather cliched--Nirvana Unplugged.

My first ever album was Queen's Live At Wembley '86, so I'm going to go with that.

Duet by Chick Corea and Hiromi Uehara. Most live albums have poor sound quality and the vocalist can't sing in key. Instrumental jazz and classical music are exceptions.

My favourite live album is this one. I've always been into rap, pop and dance way more than rock and as a result dont have too much exposure to live albums.

Jimi Hendrix live at Monterrey. It's the Experience's first live show in America, and the infamous burning of the guitar onstage happened during this show.

Bob Dylan Live at Royal Albert Hall, 1966. The "Judas!" incident over Dylan going electric happened at this show.

Not actually from the album :P This unreleased video actually sounds more like the version on the album than the actual album upload. I don't understand audio and Levels  :doge

How can this thread exist and not talk about these two I don't know... I do I just can't think of anything outside of these albums and the ones already mentioned.

Better than their original recordings:

Great albums that improve on the originals work and take it to new places.

The Who - Live at Leads/Isle of Wright is some G shit. Makes their studio stuff sound like it was recorded by a bunch of sissy boys.

Also, Rolling Stone - Get Yer Ya Ya's Out is great as well

I'd actually put All Access Arenas above A Cross The Universe. It's kinda like Alive in that it made their second album suck less in context of the live performance, the way Alive did for Human After All
