It's an election year, so I'd like to do a bit of
reading. I'm starting off with Rick Perlstein's
Before the Storm: Barry Goldwater and the Unmaking of the American Consensus. I haven't read Nixonland, but I enjoyed Invisible Bridge.
What are some other books that worth reading? I'm kinda interested in the Dixiecrat revolt at the '48 DNC and also the rise of the Religious Right, but I'll accept any suggestions
