"The .380-caliber pistol, called Ideal Conceal, will be available later this year and 'will be virtually undetectable because it hides in plain sight,' Ideal Conceal says on its website."

Maybe if you live in a socialist dictatorship with no freedoms, like Canada.

Probably will at least fall under the concealed carry status.

It's not. AFAIK there's no laws saying a gun has to "look like a gun." The only law is that fake guns have to announce they're fake (orange tip).

I have to say it's a bad-ass piece of engineering but it's a two-shot self-defense gun, so it's not like someone can go on a rampage with it. Unless I missed a part where they can reload the ammunition in the article Andy provided?

It's just a novelty gun that will probably sit on a mantle. It's like a combination of the ideas behind a Derringer and FMG-9 in concealability but it does look like a nicely designed gun.

I worry a lot about gun safety in the US but this doesn't seem like a big deal.
