Not if you're working in a creative profession or in tech, especially at any kind of startup. Lots of service jobs and trades are A-OK, too.
For banks, law firms, sales, government, religious organizations, mainstream retail, sure, it might be a problem.
Actually yes a lot the creative firms(fashion, mobile tech, other trendy things) typically have people that fit this look. On a smaller level there's then the little cafes, record stores, alt fashion, and trendy stores ect. Go around the city's(Chicago) places were 20-35 peeps shop and eat and you'll find plenty of places with people like this working.
But these kind of jobs are super limited and you actually have to be attractive.
Of course I am a 20 something in Chicago and I go to an art school filled with hear kinds of people with internships at places that target these kinds of people. So....
