This game is one I have always wanted to play but it just seems so damn complicated and time consuming that I never did.
A few years ago I gave it a try and put about 60 hours into it. By the end I didn't feel I had any substantial grasp on what I was doing.
Always wanted to go back and give it another go but with someone who could show me what to do.
I spent a good amount of time buying and selling ore for profit in different sectors. When I finally started doing tutorial combat missions I had already saved up enough to buy my first major ship with combat abilities, dumped all my isk into it. Then the tutorial missions just gave me the very ship I had just purchased for free.
Then I took it into the missions and immediately died because I didn't know what I was doing. Never went back to the game again.
