I know very few people who disliked it. Great reviews, strong word of mouth. However many feel a light comedy does not deserve to be nominated. But I never heard anyone call it anything less than a great comedy.

A comedy could never deserve to "win" against a half-decent drama or documentary/docudrama/anythiing else.

I'm going to try and watch it tonight but everybody I know said it was boring.

Either Babel or The Queen will win, since Marty's finally getting his Director statue for The Departed.  It comes down to whether or not the Academy wants to give another bland English flick the prize or a more complicated drama.

LMS is easily the worst movie I've seen this year but that may be because I've blocked out a lot of The Departed because it was so aweful.
