I know people like posting That Gif from True Detective S2 but I thought he was really good overall with the weak material he was given.

It was shafted by Disney not having the nerve to keep the 'Princess of Mars' title. And the press having the knifes out for it.

I think the title change, plus the crazy budget killed it. If they had made it cheaper and hadn't hyped it so much their might've been a sequel. I wasn't bad, not great, but certainly not bad. I think if Disney didn't need to perform like the next Avengers' movie it might've been ok.
