Listening to an album this morning and these two came to mind:

Bong Thugs East 1999 Radio Edit is so much better than the album version.  The album version forces unnecessary curse words that ruin the flow and rhyme.  It always bugs me when this song comes up.

Edited Version:

Album Version:

Also, Lucky Boy by DJ Mehdi.  The Outlines Remix is the only decent version of the song.  The rest are amazingly bad.

Outlines Remix:

Regular Version:

Edit: Oh and if we are talking about Bone then it goes without saying that Tha Crossroads remix (the one everyone knows) is so much better than "regular" version that they're not even the same song actually :doge

I'm really, really fond of the acid jazz remixes of Chrono Trigger's soundtrack.

I spend a lot of my time online looking up remixes to my favorite songs, so I have a couple.

Justice live album vs studio album is a perfect example of the music coming more alive and thus being better than it's studio album. There are other examples out there, but nothing is coming out at me right now.

The album version has some weird electro breakdown that ruins it. There's a mix they used for the Rock Band game as well that's pretty damn good but I can't seem to find it

Album version we got is really a Ski Beatz remix, alright but not as fitting as the original. Prob couldn't get the sample cleared.

Buckwild atones for KRS-One's struggle production on the original.

Way better than the other version on the same album (here)

Also this works better than the full, normal edit on the album.

Can't believe I forgot about the NastraDoomus album

Nas is the better rapper between them, MF Doom is better at production.
