Kara

  • It was all going to be very admirable and noble and it would show us - philosophically - what it means to be human.

So you start relatively well off at the beginning of the game,  but eventually you and your famine riddled family end up sucking on rocks for the moss nourishment?

Very bad communism simulator. When a state reaches communism, currency as we know it will be abolished. Rename the game to "Adventure Socialist" or disable "Wealth", it's literally unplayable until that happens.
For more information about why this game can't be a communism simulator, buy The Communist Manifesto or ask your local Marxist-Leninist party. Thank you for you time.

I get what they're going for at the base level, that your resources are using up and exhausting people to advance the state as a whole. But they added way too much stuff and put in all these complex hooks between features. It turns everything into way more of a slog where you're just waiting and waiting to get past this threshold to wait for the next one rather than something where you can DO SOMETHING whenever you pop in. Unless you're going to actually sit there clicking endlessly. (Or run an equivalent script.)

Like a lot of the AdVenture Capitalist events actually.
