Ok guys, some of you might know that I am trying to make a consious effort to change and be a better person in real life. So far, so good, I have had some positive energy and feel really good about myself. But lately it has come to my attention that I am anoying on evilbore. I wish to be a better poster. Is there anything I can do to improve my posting here. I really like it and I dont want to make other people angry.

I think most people here know how I feel about this topic. The whole cartoon business really does not help their business. I understand that there is a very very loud majority, but until I see more Muslim leaders outright condemning these frequent violent acts, all I can say is that my general view of the culture is not very positive.

Is there any reason I should have a positive view of the religion and culture? The whole middle east is just a fucking mess and there is no end in sight.

I am very culturally literate guy, I was a foreign exchange student in High School for a year and have hosted more than 6 exchange students growing up, from south America, Europe and Asia. I am very tolerant of other people's culture, but just because I am tolerant of another culture does not mean it is right. Violence is never the option, especially when its over a matter as important to civilization as free speech.

I understand its a stereotype, but there is not an example of a modern day Muslim leader that i can respect. How am I supposed to view them, when all I ever hear is "bomb this" "Jihad that" etc...

It's disgusting, and the majority of peaceful Muslims should really try to distance themselves from that.

Also, the majority of governments in the middle east, treat their citizens pretty badly.
