I heard Razer is doing some good things in this space.

Personally I think a 1050 might be solid enough for most once it hits, give you that 970m performance.

Now whether or not you'd want to buy from Sager directly, I'm not sure, I've read some claims online arguing you get more protection buying through a reseller.

One minor thing I noticed XoticPC offers is the choice to remove any branding from the laptop for free.

The one I have is the only PC I've ever owned from them.  It's not going to be a head-turner as the body is made of mostly-plastic, but the screen is great and the performance is awesome.  These things are made with gaming in mind though, so don't expect the best battery life or even stuff like touch screens.  I use Windows tablets for more portable web-browsing and light gaming and leave the Sager hooked up to my monitor as a full-on desktop replacement.  Even the 13.3" model I have (which they no longer make), the smallest one from them, is still bulky enough with its power brick that I've only taken it with me if I've gone on a long trip...and even then it isn't the kind of thing I'd take out and use while on the go.

If I decide to go with another desktop for my next PC (leaning towards a desktop this time), no doubt I'd go for another Sager though.

I have a newer 15" screen model from them and it's dope. Really solid build, aluminum alloy shell, doesn't run hot. I bought it last December and love the shit out of it.

I use a big CyberPower laptop, it’s out of date with a 770m but still plays PUBG well enough.

I got an MSI earlier this year. Has a full size 1070 and 32gb of ram. It plays games great but it is hilariously not at all portable. It weighs about six pounds and uses a gigantic external power brick. If that's ok with you I think it's a quality piece of hardware, but on the other hand I got sick of carrying it through airports and now it stays at home, so I probably should have just built a desktop or whatever.
