I mean
SotC is the ultimate "greater than the sum of it's parts" type game. the controls were kind of shit. The framerate was baaaad. the horse doesn't feel like a traditional video game horse as you more guide it than outright control it. Sometimes it does its own thing. Pushing left on the stick and having the horse go right (like near a ledge) sounds like a nightmare but ultimately it made the Agro feel like a living, breathing creature. That's why when I read stuff like "I wanted Trico to do one thing but it did another thing, WOW this game is rough" to kind of miss the point.
I'm more worried that the fucked up development cycle messed with the progression. Maybe some puzzles and set pieces were completely cut out only to be shoehorned in another part of the game. It could is a frankenstein's monster under the hood it, feel really uneven and miss those necessary emotional notes as a result.
