I would be nostalgic about SMB, but SMB3 pretty much supersedes it completely for me, and that came out in 1990 (in the US).

And I'm not even nostalgic about that, because I still play it and I enjoy it for a great game experience it still provides me in 2016, not for the memories of the experience I had in 1990.

What does this have to do with the 80s?  We got Super Mario Bros. 3 in 1990 and SMW came out in 1991.  :lol

Also, holy shit- Japan got SMB3 in 1988:dizzy  That would have been mind-blowing to play in that year.
