The NeoGAF thread was only so big because recently banned posters, mostly assholes who were unsuccessfully trying to disguise their /pol/ tendencies, were posting every single  fucking minute about dumb posts on gaf. Half of them that didn't really deserve scorn to begin with.

I try this every time I come back to posting on the bore, but the truth of it is the other threads are way too slow/dead for me. In there I can at least read a couple of posts per hour. Volume is important to me because of how non serious all this is to me. I treat forums as vapid little entertainment pits, so i'm just going to go where the activity is to entertain myself.
