In total agreement with MAF. Great visuals, but the dialogue, and especially the acting, look painfully awful.

For some reason the newer trailer doesn't rub me as bad with the hacky dialog.

Although, I have yet to see a scene where the lead character isn't screaming his head off.

At least your going in knowing what type of movie it is (in regards to the dialogue). It would be far worse if they played it off as something much more and BAM! your hit with what it actually is. To me, the movie looks awesome.

It's basically a 1950s Gladiator/Harryhausen/Toga flick with a change of setting and buckets of FX blood. Of course the dialogue is going to be awful, that's part of the charm. If you can sit through anime shows which are 99% wretched dialogue, you can surely sit through this.
