My Ps4 Pro after getting lost at UPS showed up today. Doing the 90 minute system transfer.
To be honest, I'm pretty fucking pissed at Sony for this system. Like I already have a top of the line 60fps ultra settings gaming PC, so I'm buying this entirely for 1st party and Japanese not-yet-on-PC developers. Also, perfectly know that it's only a bit more powerful than PS4, so not expecting a lot. That's fine, got no problem with it or spending $400 for a little stronger PS4.
BUT, I bought the thing on the idea I could swap it out for my PS4 and it would have 100% perfect compatibility and basically be a PS4 + better framerate/AA on games from this point on. But now, not only are about 30% of released games running WORSE on Pro (fuck you devs, lower your goddamn resolution a touch and lock the framerate at 30fps), or they have an option to play at regular PS4 graphics with unlocked framerates fluctuating between 30-60fps which again is running WORSE on Pro than a locked 30fps game on regular PS4 imo, but on top of that World of FF is broken and looks like shit so there goes 100% compatibility. It pisses me off because World of FF is actually a game I want to play in a couple months when I have some time for it, but now I'm literally going to plug in my old PS4 (which otherwise I'd give to a friend who doesn't have a PS4) and swap activations back and play World of FF on my old PS4 and maybe I'll do that for other games too if they're gonna run noticeably worse on Pro or unlocked vs a smooth locked 30fps on regular PS4.
Now there are some games that really benefit like Battlefield 1, and more games benefit so far than run worse (way too many running worse though), but all that stuff I can play on my PC so far. Infamous SS is the only game that runs better that's exclusive I think and the game was boring the first time, why would I replay it.
Still, Pro has a chance to redeem itself for me and my personal situation. My regular PS4's remote play/wifi fucking SUCKS and I can't remote play games from like 30 feet away going from one bedroom to another. This made me so frustrated since a lot of these rpgs I want to play in bed sometimes. Supposedly Pro has better wifi and remote play. I am hoping fingers crossed it boosts the signal enough that I can play in the next bedroom and enjoy Persona 5, FFXV and such in bed. If it does this I will forgive everything else about it. I will know in about an hour.
*edit* damnit, didn't fix remote play. Looks like it's not the PS4, but my launch Vita has the worst wifi receiver ever and can't make it past 5-10 feet without skipping or dropping signal

Could probably fix it with one of those newer Vita 2.0s, but not worth buying a Vita entirely just for remote play :|
Also next "Pro" games I play are gonna be FFXV and Last Guardian. Neither better run worse than normal PS4 or fuck Sony

/kind of in an angry mood since the election if that sounds bitchy.
