Putting the SS in the S.S.

Remember when getting an SS tat was a minor fad among Marine snipers?

In my opinion, that wasn't good.

The black population is more at risk because they live in dense, urban areas and rely more on public transportation. Not because they are genetically predisposed.

wtf are you talking about, black americans have a higher risk of high blood pressure directly due to genetics.

Researchers have also found that there may be a gene that makes African-Americans much more salt sensitive.

Covid amplifies in things like diabetes, high blood pressure, which directly impacts black americans. Black people also tend to work "essential" jobs and can't take off work, exposing themselves to Covid.

Why are all his tweets these days just lines from 1990s movie trailers?
I read the other day that the Trump campaign team was looking for a new catchphrase because transition to greatness hadn't caught on yet.
And just before COVID-19 they launched 'The Best Is Yet To Come!" to replace "Keep America Great"... which was well accurate.

I think they should just go with: Make America Great Again, Again! . Trump is probably helping.

Maybe I was conflating what "at risk" means? I took it as meaning the way many are living ( poor and in a city) versus their health outcomes when they do contract the disease. As you alluded to things like hypertension, diabetes, etc play a huge factor in causing skewed results. The same underlying things you see with the racial disparity with premature births in America.

https://www.nytimes.com/2020/06/11/us/politics/republican-platform.html
Quote
When Republicans read the platform their party is using for the 2020 campaign, they may be surprised to see that it is full of condemnations of the sitting president.

“The survival of the internet as we know it is at risk,” the platform reads. “Its gravest peril originates in the White House, the current occupant of which has launched a campaign, both at home and internationally, to subjugate it to agents of government.”

The warning about speech online is one of more than three dozen unflattering references to either the “current president,” “current chief executive,” “current administration,” people “currently in control” of policy, or the “current occupant” of the White House that appear in the Republican platform. Adopted at the party’s 2016 convention, it has been carried over through 2024 after the executive committee of the Republican National Committee on Wednesday chose not to adopt a new platform for 2020.

The platform censures the “current” president — who in 2016 was, of course, Barack Obama — and his administration for, among other things, imposing “a social and cultural revolution,” causing a “huge increase in the national debt” and damaging relationships with international partners.

“The Middle East is more dangerous now than at any time since the Second World War,” the platform reads. “Whatever their disagreements, presidents of both parties had always prioritized America’s national interests, the trust of friendly governments, and the security of Israel. That sound consensus was replaced with impotent grandstanding on the part of the current President and his Secretaries of State. The results have been ruinous for all parties except Islamic terrorists and their Iranian and other sponsors.”

Senate Republicans are growing concerned that rising tensions between President Trump and Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) could lead to a shutdown fight just weeks before the election and threaten their slim majority in the chamber.

There is widespread anxiety among GOP senators that Trump’s penchant for picking fights is a political liability as his response to nationwide protests against police brutality appears to be the cause of his declining approval ratings.

Republicans are now worried that he’s likely to pick a fight with Pelosi in September over government funding for the next fiscal year, which starts Oct. 1.

Trump and Pelosi’s relationship has only gotten worse since the 35-day government shutdown at the end of 2018 and beginning of 2019. The president regularly refers to her as "Crazy Nancy," and last month Pelosi called him "morbidly obese."

Beyond being a racist traitor slave holder etc...Braxton Bragg was the worst general in the fucking Civil War. I could at least see, if this dude was a military genius who won some battles, why someone might name a military installation after him. But this dude was basically the AJ Soprano of generals.

not really... anti-secession guys always say stuff like "we settled this in the civil war" but secession is fine, it's the slavery that's wrong
Living in Ohio I'm concerned about bluestate secession.  Imagine living in what's left of America after the west coast and NY leave.

Gonna be a great study in compartmentalized thinking when Greene's in Congress.

She's going to spend her time off reading about how the Dems are about to be rounded up and put on trial for harvesting adrenochrome from kids, then go to work and haggle with them over funding levels for agriculture subsidies.

Trump has been handling his food and drinks weird since forever. The ramp thing was something else though

https://twitter.com/realDonaldTrump/status/1272000237809414149

We won't know if he really has a problem until next Friday though. It'll be hard for Trump to 'hide' his ailments at a rally.
If he won't swing his arms and point at people there he might not be on the ballot in November.

Biden does seem in better physical health than Mr. High Energy though.
Maybe Trump has trouble sourcing his cocaine with the fence and protesters around the White House  :lol

The corona caravan  :doge

This reminds me though. Multiple states seeing virus case spikes, while the government has been AFK for the last month after essentially declaring victory. The entire point of social distancing/quarantine was to take stress off our healthcare capabilities and prepare for future flare ups. Instead states have been left to fend for themselves. Military-built tent hospitals were dismantled. Supply requests were ignored. Stay safe fellas...
